UKSV recently entered in to the Wave 105 1000 Faces – cash for kids fundraising event. The idea behind the fundraising initiative is that 1000 people / companies all agree to raise a minimum of £100 and bingo – collectively that’s at least £100,000 to help alleviate disability, combat illness and improve quality of life for local children and young people.
We were lucky enough to be the 1000th and final entrant in this year’s campaign – to hear the moment we went live on air, click on the video!

We bravely (stupidly) suggested that to raise money, we would do a sponsored walk and we have now decided to walk the Castleman Trailway from Poole to Ringwood (16 miles) on the  23rd of August.

We would really value your support in helping us to raise money for this worthy cause or if you felt the urge, to join us on the walk too. Our plan is to start in Poole and end (hopefully) in Ringwood, where we will have a few well-earned drinks to celebrate our achievement and remember our fallen comrades!

If anybody feels like they would be prepared to sponsor us, we would be amazingly grateful – click here to be taken to the page on the 1000 faces website!
